The Make Awards 2011

Here at Bombus we don't work to court awards, but when we were voted number one Gift of the Year by customers of notonthehighstreet in the 2011 Make Awards, we were absolutely over the moon.

An online poll on the retailer's Facebook page saw our Vintage map heart top the list of the customers' favourite sellers and products. We were up against strong competition from other Partners on notonthehighstreet so we’re incredibly proud.

To everyone who voted for us – thank you. It means a great deal to us and we're touched to know that you love our hearts as much as we do. We hope our other unique gifts and hand-made vintage accessories bring just as much pleasure.

In celebration Amelia, the director of Bombus, was invited to a photo-shoot after being fully glammed up by hair and makeup stylists, and then whisked to an awards dinner and ceremony at The Union Club in London.
