The map centers upon the borough of Battersea, showing Battersea Park and the River Thames and a little further out Hyde Park, St James's Park, Buckingham Palace and Westminster. To the north the map picks out Notting Hill, Marylebone and Holborn and to the south, Clapham Common, Putney and Balham.
